Training
We believe that training is paramount to the success of our employees at Insight Global. In fact, we believe that training and development should never stop throughout an individual's career. Just as we are constantly striving to improve as a company, we are also dedicated to helping each of our employees grow as professionals as well.
An Insight Global career begins in our entry-level IT Recruiter position. During your time as a Recruiter, you will report directly to an Account Manager who will act as your mentor on your path to sales. Because all of our employees start in the same position, this one-on-one mentorship and training comes directly from someone who has been through everything you are facing as a new employee of the company. In addition to having a dedicated Account Manager to train and develop you, Insight Global takes a team approach to training, where everyone in the office takes part in ensuring the success of each of our new hires.
We believe in a personalized, hands-on approach to training rather than sending you back to the classroom for months. We strongly believe in proactive and reactive training, and employ a learn-by-doing approach. This process starts with pro-actively teaching and training each individual on a process, letting them do it, and then reacting with constructive feedback on exactly what they did well and on what they need to improve.
In addition to the on-the-job training you will receive daily, the company has created a Professional Development Center (PDC) at our corporate headquarters in Atlanta, GA dedicated to supplemental training purposes. Every new hire attends a training program early on in their career to learn the ins and outs of recruiting. Here, recruiters learn best practices and tools for success in a highly interactive environment. This isn't your typical classroom setting, rather you're in a room of recruiters just like you and are taught by our on-the-job, mentorship-based training style. This method allows entry-level recruiters to progress as quickly as they are able through a fun, stimulating and challenging environment. Because of our highly-involved approach to professional development, new hires with no prior experience are generally promoted from the Recruiter role to the Account Manager Role in an average of 6- 8 months.
Once you are promoted to Account Manager, the training continues through the mentorship of your Sales Manager. In fact, training and development will continue throughout your entire career at Insight Global!
