Introduction to Staffing Services

Temporary Staffing:  Temporary staffing services source, screen and place contractors and consultants in positions within companies for a temporary amount of time. Companies in need of short-term and long-term temporary employees contract with Insight Global in order to find qualified candidates for specific hiring needs. Temporary employees are often used when companies do not have the time or resources to find candidates on their own. Temporary staffing is also used when companies require augmented staff during peak workloads or for special projects.

Temporary to Hire:  The temporary to hire staffing model is used when a client has a full-time opening on their team. The client may choose to have a candidate start on a temporary contract through Insight Global before the employee is hired on full-time by the company. The amount of time for the contract varies based on each position and situation. A candidate may be hired on full-time as early as three months of starting the position or up to twelve months if the client desires. This contractual period is a great time for the client to evaluate the candidate to see if he/she will be a good long term fit for the company. A temporary to hire position does not always lead to full time employment, although that would be the ultimate goal for all parties.

Direct Hire:  Direct hire or permanent placement services are often used when clients are seeking qualified candidates to fill full-time or permanent positions. In most cases, the direct hire method is used to fill specific positions that cannot be satisfied with a temporary or contract employee due to various circumstances. During the direct hire recruiting process, the recruiting firm will pre-screen potential job candidates, and when the right candidate is found, will connect the employee with the employer.
